I tried my hand doing some modern art with watercolours last night. I failed miserably. Problem was, I was being too critical, and worrying too much about how it looked and so it didn't work. I may try what some suggested and let Oscar have his hand at doing some art.
I do know that somewhere in our house we'll have a big photo blown up. Here is a great inspirational shot from Lonny. It's pretty good for inspiration because it's exactly what we want to do - get the console table + use it to ground the art.
